Personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to learn about your identity. This includes information such as your correct name, address, postal address, and telephone number. Information that is not directly associated with your real identity (such as favorite websites or number of users of a site) is not included. In the public domain, you can use www.european-biochar.org without disclosing your identity.

Storage of IP addresses
In connection with your access, data is stored on our servers for security purposes, which may allow identification (for example IP address, date, time, and pages viewed). There is no further use of those personal data. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymous data records. We store IP addresses for a maximum period of seven days. The storage is done for reasons of data security to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

Cooperation with data processors and third parties
If in the course of our processing, we disclose data to other persons and companies (data processors or third parties), transfer those data to them or otherwise grant them access to the data, this will only be done on the basis of legal permission in accordance with the EBC-Guidelines (e.g. transfer of production data to EBC-accredited laboratories, the accredited inspection authority or C-sink dealers) that you have consented to, or it happens on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. web hosts).
If we commission third parties to process data on the basis of a so-called "contract processing agreement", this is done on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO.

Right of revocation and correction
If you have provided us with personal data, you can delete this data at any time, unless we are required by law to store this data for a certain period of time, for example for tax or accounting purposes. In this case, we will delete the data immediately after the storage period has expired. Furthermore, you can, of course, have incorrectly recorded data corrected at any time.
